First day of shooting on the "Grind N Shine" re-shoot didn't go as planned. Due to some personnel mismanagement, we had to reschedule the shoot to Thursday/Friday night. This video will be my first story-driven video. This is what music videos should be about. No more hood videos with straight up rap performance scenes. Music videos are music in a visual form and deserve shit better than that. I hope to deliver this.
I will post up the treatment/script up shortly, so you guys can peruse it at your convenience.
My first collaboration with artist, Faness ThaTKid is coming into fruition. Something new and exciting is planned with his first single, "Sex Meditation". Be on the lookout for this one.
Jimmy King's "Game Over" music video is looking to be the biggest video I have ever worked on. The music video will be shot on the Sony HVR-Z5U. We are also getting the Glide with the accompanying vest that is being used by many music videos currently. We have one of the best locations Toronto can offer, including a band shot at River studios (see pic). Other locations include a Lakeshore sunset shot and a LA River-esque location deep in Streetsville Mississauga (with accompanying insane graffiti!).
In addition, my short film project (now officially titled, "I Don't Know Nothing" is coming along fine. Pending completion of the script, the film will be shot in July/August. This is an exciting project and I look forward to have you guys experience it. More details will come when appropriate.
